Spooky Tower
Spooky Tower | A Playful Ghost-Hunting Game for the Whole Family
The lights are low, the dice are tumbling down a little clock tower, and the kids are arguing over whether to reveal their photos now or hold out for one more ghost. It's spooky in the way a good bedtime story is spooky — more giggles than screams.
The ghosts have taken over the city, and it's your job to catch them on camera. Each turn you roll two dice to choose where in town to look, collect cards, and decide when to reveal your photographs to capture ghosts and uncover clues. The clock tower isn't just decoration: dice dropped through it can hand out bonus rewards like ghost pets and pieces of the tower's lost amulet. Catch five ghosts, or restore the amulet with three fragments, and you've saved the city.
Why it works for family night
- Learned in a couple of rounds. Clear symbols and simple turns, so younger players pick it up quickly.
- Over in about 15–30 minutes. Easy to fit in after dinner, and short enough to play again straight away.
- Nobody attacks anybody. Everyone's racing to catch ghosts rather than knocking each other down, so it stays friendly.
- A great table centrepiece. The dice-tower clock tower and warm artwork make it inviting before anyone's read a rule.
