The Quest for El Dorado
The Quest for El Dorado is a deck-building race game for 2–4 players, designed by Reiner Knizia. Players build a small deck of cards to move through the jungle, racing to be first to reach the legendary city — games run about 45–60 minutes.
How it plays
Everyone starts with an identical deck. Cards are spent to move across the board or to buy stronger cards for future turns, so your deck (and your route) gets faster as the game goes on. It's often recommended as one of the easiest ways to learn deck-building, since the race format makes the strategy visible and immediate.
